Shellac Gel Nails at DeBest

Shellac gel enhances the look and lasts longer compared to lacquer polish.

A new set of shellac gel nails starts with shaping the nails and removing all previous colours and residuals from the nail beds. A new colour is applied and cured with a salon lamp.

Your nails should be cured and ready, coming out from the lamp. The process takes around 30 minutes.

It is recommended to have a manicure before colouring. This tidies up the skin around the nail beds and improves the overall look.

FAQs

Do you charge for shellac gel removal?

Generally we don’t charge for colour take off when you come in for a colour-change. That includes colour that has been done elsewhere.

Can I remove shellac gel myself?

Shellac gel removal should be done correctly. Peeling the gel without softening it up may cause lasting damage to the nail beds.

If you prefer taking off shellac gel at home before your next visit, please talk to our staff.

My nails are paper-thin. Should I continue getting shellac gel?

We recommend taking a break every now and then. If you need colours on we can help with a suitable nail treatment. Please talk to our staff.
