Gel-X Nails Explained
Gel-X or soft gel tips are pre-shaped and applied to your natural nails at the salon. Length and tips are adjusted and strengthened to your liking. Gel-x offers a perfect structure consistently. And it feels rather light compared to other products.
A new set of gel-x nails starts with preparing your cuticles and the nail beds using an e-file nail drill. Fully covered plastic nail tips are glued onto the nail beds using salon-grade products.
Gel-x is cured under a UV lamp. Length and tips are customised as desired. And finally, colours and designs are done on the newly created nails.
When it’s time for the next nail appointment, gel-x nails can be refilled with acrylic or builder gels. Alternatively, you may choose to soak off the set and start a new one.
Builder gel can be filed off or use gel removers. It is best done professionally to avoid damage.

Which nail treatment is right for me?
We offer lacquer polish, shellac gel, acrylic sculpture, builder gel sculpture, gel-x and SNS/dipping powder nails. We can recommend a suitable treatment based on the desired finish, state of your nails and nail care routines.
How long does it take to get a new set of gel-x done?
It takes approximately between 45 mins – 60 mins. Refill sets may take less time. While taking off other products can take longer.
